A relaxed atmosphere exists at the Watermill, simply sit at a table and order what ever you feel like at the time, we don't take bookings! We have an extensive menu and a large daily Chef's specials board, which hopefully will satisfy the heartiest of appetites after a good day out in the Lakes. A starter, a main course , a pudding or maybe just two puddings.
The choice is truly yours at the Watermill. We are firstly a pub, we emphasize on traditional dishes both English and continental. Many people refer to the Inn as "last night we ate in the restaurant" we take this as a big complement,
we pride ourselves as being a pub that serves proper food.

The Watermill has a very strong reputation for the quality range of drinks we serve. We have 16 traditional hand pumps which are all temperature controlled via our line system and impressive beer cellar which you can see through a viewing window in the main bar. Over the last 20 years we have had too many guest beers from all over the country flowing through our pumps to list. It would definately run into the thousands! We also have a style guide on our chalk board which indicates the colour and taste of each beer available.
Our brewery now makes a great range of different beers for you to sample.

We always use both pint and half pint lined glasses for our real ale, giving you 100% liquid which means you're not paying for the creamy head on beer saving you 10% at £2.70 per pint that saves you 27p..!!!!!
